I love my physician but this place is ran like garbage. It's only getting worse with the KU Med takeover. The latest - I called to get an appointment to see my doctor for a likely sinus infection. Response - she can see you in July (4 months from now) or you can come into Urgent Care. Oh, you mean so you all can make more money off a basic exam? No. No thanks.
This is the second time that I have come to this urgent care during the week within this past month, between 5:30pm-5:40pm, where I have been told that my sick ONE YEAR OLD is unable to be seen due the receptionist saying that the “providers have already taken their last patient of the day”. With an EMPTY waiting room at that. If you’re going to list your operating hours ending at 7:00pm, with the doors closing for new patients at 6:30pm, why are patients not being accepted to be seen at 5:40pm?! Always had a bad experience in appointments, doctors are so busy. the front staff is so rude need to replace and hire better doctors. its a shame this facility is 3 star . should be shut down.
I want to give a shoutout to Nurse Melissa and I do want to note my 5 star rating is ONLY based on my interaction with her this morning. I have been dealing with some health issues over the past couple of months; dealing with all sorts of medical professionals to try to figure it out and I have felt like no one is taking me that seriously. This review will be in two parts since its two long so part one of my review. I don't usually write reviews Dr. Morisson was my child main doctor. But here we go with my long story. My 5 year old son has behavior problems and speech delay. I don't think my son is Autistic. My mother does. Daycare and school doesnt think he is.
