The rep knocked on my door, I answered the door, and immediately told them that we're not interested in their services and asked that they leave. The rep that was doing the talking started talking over me and refusing to leave and began cursing at me and trying to intimidate me. I requested their names which they refused to give. Unprofessional and sketchy. Asked in the beginning if it was door to door and they said no it was just canvassing. Made it seem like a desk job. Day one we go knocking on doors (which is not what I wanted) we all pile in one persons car (which I had never met before) and me and another girl get dropped off in a random neighborhood. We have to walk into gas stations to use the restroom or in our case a nasty blood bank. When I ask to leave they said I couldn’t leave because they could miss out on sales!? I applied for a job and they accepted me and tried to call. I never receievd a call and informed them my new phone number through email and my availability. They still never called and when I called it ALWAYS went to voicemail. Mind you, this is the span of a week to try to get interview and a job. They gave me an email of 'you need to get ahold of me this time, this day or we will move on' and I did twice and it went straight to voicemail. It’s door to door sales through Verizon for Verizon, so we just do the leg work. Be prepared for lots of walking especially in sketchy areas. Orientation isn’t paid it’s purely Commission based. Hours are 11:30 -8:30 (mon through fri) and then 9:30 -3:30 on Saturday. I interviewed and did orientation I wouldn’t recommend it you are not interested in door to door.
