With only a couple thousand dollars to their name, they boot-strapped a pop-up concept in a parking lot in East Hollywood serving a simple menu of tenders, sliders, fries, and kale slaw — they created a viral cult following with lines consistently over an hour long.

Tried Dave’s Hot Chicken for the first time and really enjoyed it! The chicken has a unique, almost "dusty" seasoning that I hadn’t had before, but it worked really well. The "hot" flavor was a bit too intense for me, but the "mild" was perfect—I just wish there was something in between. Prices were good, and overall, it was a great experience. Will definitely be back!
9/10 best fast food chicken that I've ever had. It was well seasoned, moist, and the crunch was perfect. 😋 The honey + sauce + pickle + slaw is the perfect pairing. The Cinnamon toast crunch shake was the cherry on top. So damn good. 🤤
Dave's Hot chicken is absolutely delicious! The chicken had so much flavor and cooked to perfection. The service was really great too. The freshness, presentation, and ingredients are all to perfection. This location was very clean and busy but the service was very fast.
I'm back trying Dave's Hot Chicken for the second time. This time was an improvement on service. I tried hot slider with cheese, it was amazing and just the right amount of hurt. The slaw paired with the heat, making each bite just as good as the first. The fries were hot and crispy. Everything about this visit was on point and deserved 5 stars.
The Food was amazing. I had a double chicken sandwich. The heat on the sauce was just right and the fries were tasty. Very cool graffiti decor down the hallway. 10/10
