We have had a universally positive experience with Dr. Karthikeyan for both of our children. He is very smart, knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and strikes an ideal balance between providing all of the information we as parents would want, while also being appropriately reassuring. He is really a talented clinician, and is someone that I would highly recommend to any of my loved ones who have children!
This doctor, although being a pediatrician, has terrible manners with kids on the spectrum. He always referred to my child as if she had a problem of some sort, never tried to establish a good relationship with her. When she was sick and scared, he actually was rude and almost shouted at her and told her to stop. Said it was impossible for any doctor to check her because “look what we have to deal with”, and pointed at my child. I was horrified and pledged to myself never to bring her to this doctor again.
