We hired Open Range first to create a custom design for our backyard, then to build the majority of that design. They assured us their in-house team could execute the plans on time and on budget. We moved forward with them based on that promise but what followed was a series of costly mistakes, poor communication, and ultimately a complete breakdown in trust. Absolutely worst experience of my life! Their prices are beyond extravagant and for a small project (fire pit) I have paid enough to buy a new car. Once they put in the bid and I unfortunately agreed, they did show up on time. Their communication was poor and they had fees on top of fees. Once the project was complete, the work was fair and there are holes between all of the rock. **BEWARE** They don't pay their bills. We did an asphalt project for them and they did not pay. We are in the process of putting a lien on the project and contacting our attorney to begin the legal collection process. Beware of this company!
I cannot praise Alexis Mecham and the Founder LaMar Lisman enough. They went above and beyond to design and furnish our condo in Denver and came all the way to Tulsa, Oklahoma to furnish our new home. People may think they save money by not using a designer and it could not be farther from the truth. There is no way we could have selected the pieces they did in such an efficient and effective manner. I have used Lisman Studio multiple times; new home build, interior design, office design, and a basement finish. LaMar and Belle are fantastic to work with. They are fair, honest, professional and did I mention their work is amazingly beautiful.
