My mother is a new patient to Optic Eye Care in Arcadia. My mother's new doctor is Dr. Tran. I personally think Dr. Tran is wonderful with my mom. She's very attentive and caring towards her. The problem with the office is that they over book their patients and the waiting time is ridiculous! My mom had a 2pm appointment so we arrived at 1:30. My visit today to Optic Eye Care was just perfect. My appointment was at 8am and though there were quite a few of us for our appointments, the front desk staff were very attentive. The doctor's assistant, and I am so sorry I didn't catch his name, was very helpful and just empathetic to not just my needs but the needs of the other patients who were there as well. I am very happy that I chose Optic Eye Care for my cataract surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Evelyn Tran. She is very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining what to expect before and after surgery. She also takes her time to answer all my questions and concerns. The staff here are very helpful and friendly.
I was scheduled for a cataract surgery on 6/22/26. The surgery care coordinator, Ivy called me on the 6/03/26. She said regular surgery is fully cover by the insurance and laser is $1000 out of pocket which Dr. Claire Kwan did not mention to me. I was confused to the options she offered. I kept asking questions because I did not understand on the details different between regular and laser that she explained and provided. She has no patience and rude for my questions. Front desk and all doctors are very friendly and professional but when I walked to office to make appointment for date for surgery completely different. She very mean not friendly upset face all the time I asked myself what did I do wrong to her
