Dr Seitz pulled a tooth before i knew it was out. Painless. My mom likes him too. He talked to me and made me feel comfortable.
We saw Dr. Seitz. I felt like I was seeing a used car salesman. My mother has a lot of health problems that he completely blew off like it was no big deal. I know it's a big deal because I have been through countless "big deals" with her. He's too slick. He was running behind. He literally blew into the room, flashed is pearly whites, gave his spiel & blew back out telling us to stop at the front desk to schedule the surgery. Long waiting times for scedualed appointments , The office staff must book 10 kids for the same time slot, As for the unhappy and unprofessional people checking you in and out, they should finde workers who can deal with the public. Cant wait for my kids braces to come off.
I do not recommend Dr. Seitz to anyone... First, because he is not a licensed anesthesiologist, general anesthesia will not be covered by many insurances (even though his office staff may assure you it will be). Second, when I experienced life-threatening complications related to my surgery, he lied about it, despite physical evidence to the contrary and debriefing from other surgical staff explaining to me what happened. Dr Seitz rushed through pulling a tooth while another patient was under anesthesia. Had stitches sitting on the tray but didn't use. I was left in pain for a week. He wouldn't give me anymore pain killers. I had to go back and have the rest of the tooth removed and then got stitches and NO pain killers. He said he about scrubbing it to make it heal more correctly but he didn't say that he found more pieces of tooth and I know what I saw come out of my mouth. There was more yanking on what was left. I was referred here by my family dentist. I asked to be awake for the procedure, but Dr. Seitz insisted that I would have to be put under general anesthesia for it. Since we couldn't come to an agreement, I decided to go elsewhere and I got stuck with an $80 consultation fee which was not covered by insurance because Dr. Seitz didn't do any actual work. If you want a surgeon who is more considerate of what you want, you are better off going to Susquehanna OMS (specifically Dr. Waltz) in York.
