This is my second review for Dr. Lerman following my breast reconstruction-stage 2 surgery. I cannot be happier with my final results! They look so symmetric and perfect!!! Dr. Lerman is the best of the best breast reconstruction surgeons. He is a true expert. He is extremely knowledgeable and talented and has very compassionate bedside manner. Having chosen Dr. Lerman as my breast reconstruction surgeon was the best decision I could have made.
I want to share my experience as a physician and a patient of Dr. Lerman. In April mammogram found cals in right breast. I did biopsy showing ADH, high-risk lesion not cancer. I went on lumpectomy showing multiple ADH. Treatment for this lesion is med and MRI every 6 mo for 10 yr. I hate side effects of med and horrible MRI. I selected for bilateral mastectomy and DIEP-FLAP. As soon as I met Dr.L and his nurse Jennifer, I knew I am in the best hands. Dr. Lerman is phenomenal. After having three children, I suffered from diastasis recti (muscle separation) which was not only physically uncomfortable, but resulted in bulging skin, making me look perpetually 7 months pregnant. Dr. Lerman fixed my muscle separation and performed a tummy tuck (to get rid of all the loose skin) and liposuction to contour the rest of my body.
