I wish there was a choice of less than 1 rating I would surely click on it. I received a collection letter stating we had not paid since April 2020. That is so incorrect and I called the # listed on the letter. I spoke to a lady who after placing me on hold for 12 minutes to review the account came back to ask me for my phone # and said she would need to continue reviewing and call me back. She did call me back after about 45 minutes to say we hadn't paid since April but she cannot see the pay history. Who does this??? I ... read more

They are the worst! Use any service but this one. Especially the Buckhead branch! I have tried for three weeks to transfer my service. Finally got an appointment scheduled and they were a no show twice. Now my living room is infested with ants!

Overall Orkin is ok. The bug spray works decent and keeps pests away, but we're clean too so that helps. We have the quarterly service so they come every 3rd month. My wife and I live in a forested area so we see a lot of spiders and ants. Some frustrating details include what's advertised on their website they do not do. I've never been more dissatisfied with a business servicing my residence. I couldn't leave less than one star, but honestly they don't deserve even one. I've basically been donating money to this company for months for absolutely nothing. I had five salesmen in my home to begin with, making all sorts of promises. Since then I have never had a technician come back out in six months. No one has come to change out the traps or get the dead squirrel in traps. This is a joke !!!!! I have had someone come to my house 5 times in 2 months and paid them almost $300.00 and now there telling me there is nothing else they can do but they won't give me my money back. Do not give these people your money they are a joke I GIVE THEM - 0 stars !

If I could give zero stars I would. This was the worst service I ever had, and I worked there. Customer service was poor regardless if you worked there or not, everyone I spoke to had a bad experience, it was a coworker who told me to switch my service. So I switched to Terminix and received better treatment all around and the price was better! My "Orkin Man" never showed and then would show up whenever he wanted to. My reference # 40770853. I made a call twice to schedule an appointment to come out to my house. The first time I called the man said I should be getting a call back the same day. I stayed home from work that day and didn't get a phone call. Then I called back two days later and the man said it would take 24-48 before someone would contact me to let me know when can they get to my house. Hired them for a termite bond and I'm too exhausted to list all the examples of terrible customer service they put us through. Repeatedly missed appointments and failed to return phone calls. I feel bad for their techs because they are clearly overworked and not supported by management. Their pricing is suspect and changes for no discernible reason. Just awful. I have been with Orkin for years and was especially happy with my Orkin Tech. But now that I am selling my house, they will not transfer my Termite bond as it was agreed upon at purchase. They say it can be transferred for 49.00, but they conveniently nullify the "repair" clause that we spend 1200.00 for on the front end. Repair and treat. That is a termite bond.
