I contacted the four pest control firms that were recommended by a University of Manitoba entomologist. I chose Orkin because the initial person I spoke to was very knowledgeable and confident, they use a biological agent, steam if required and have a bed bug detecting dog available. I met Brittany a month ago and today she inspected and gave my house a bill of approval. And I can call back if we happen to find any in the next few weeks.
Extremely disappointed in the customer service of Orkin. For nearly a month I have been leaving messages with their call center and voicemails at the local Winnipeg number to book a follow-up appointment for the mouse program that I have purchased. No one seems to return calls and the 24-7 hours is a joke. It is a call service where they take all of your information and tell you someone will call back... But they don't. Orkin was very good. They responded to my issue in a timely manner and Brittney was amazing. Everything was explained in detail and we knew what the procedure would entail.
Very disappointing customer service. I was given a 2-hour appointment window today, but no one showed up. I tried calling multiple times, couldn’t reach anyone, and had to leave messages on both the local and national numbers. I finally sent an email myself and only then got a response saying it was “too rainy” to come and asking me to reschedule. No proactive communication, no courtesy call, nothing. She was patient with us. Cats kept sneaking back in the house, had to keep rounding them up. Normally they like going outside but it was raining. So patience is her virtue along with friendly & professional
