I appreciated the care, patience, and kindness shown to me during my visit. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left. A top-tier example of professionalism, kindness, and a clean and beautiful exterior and interior. Highly recommended. I now understand how far in advance they must book.
I had a brain injury and was referred to the INI. The neurologist at INI told me "when youre at a certain level of functionality, there really are no services for you." 2 years later, after my own research I find out about neuropsychology. my dr never even mentioned this for my mental health issues or cognitive testing. Had brain surgery to remove a meningioma four years ago. Hadn’t had another seizure until a few months ago. My Primary Care Doctor referred me to OSF, and someone called to set an appointment time with me. A week before my appointment, they called and told me they were moving me up a couple of days. Then, the morning of my appointment they moved me to, they call me and tell me that I can’t be seen by a neurologist, instead a Physicians Assistant from a different provider can see me. Dr.Gregory Blume and his staff over these past 3 years .I have felt so much kindness from Nurse Courtney Nurse Val and now Nurse Joseph that they listen to me about my symptoms and let me express anything that comes up I appreciate thier support. Truthfully one of the worst experiences I've had. Was my first time at this location. Completely disregarded the moment we walked through the door. The greeters/check in clerks didn't even notice I was there. The neurologist told me that I didn't look autistic enough for her. And then proceeded to tell my friend that he was lying about my convulsions because he wasn't present to see my most recent episode and that my medically trained coworker had false information.
