Angela Klapp is the best provider I’ve ever had in my 47 years of life in this earth. She listens to my concerns, takes me seriously, treats me with kindness and also she’s just really nice and funny. All of her the nurses there are also always so helpful and kind. It took me so long in my life to get care somewhere where I felt seen and heard as a person and not dismissed. I’m so grateful for Angela and her team.
I've never been treated so poorly. Went to an appointment scheduled 1 month prior, to get my blood pressure medication refilled. They turned me away at the front desk, because they couldn't help me. Why? Because I was there to be "established" not get medication. They treated me like I was trying to get narcotics. I didn't even get past the receptionist desk.
They do not do a complete physical on patients. They do not consider screening for diabetes or thyroid function part of a normal physical and will charge you extra, in my opinion this verges on negligent. With my physician in my last home town they tested for all of that along with many other things. You can't even see a real doctor. Their people read a hip x-ray wrong causing me to pay more and go through painful physical therapy than had it been read right the first time. I wouldn't trust these people with a gold fish.
Called to schedule a therapy appointment at Behavioral Health. They said they would mail an appointment card to confirm. Never received that card and missed my appointment. I also tried to schedule a GP appointment so I could get a referral for psychiatry. They never called to confirm. It's almost like they don't want to do their jobs. Horrible that this is the only hospital within a 45 minute raidus of Galesburg.
I've always been pleased with the service from this facility and Natalie Fargher. However, I received a call this morning regarding my refill and the receptionist was so rude to me. I asked her where her facility was located because I was confused about which provider was calling. She didn't tell me until I apologized for being mixed up, definitely rubbed me the wrong way.
