I needed a physical completed by a PRIMARY CARE PHYSICIAN for a medical certificate for the Coast Guard. I have insurance that covers yearly physicals and they would not let me use a primary care physician to fill out the form. They would only refer me to their occupational health to conduct the exam out of pocket which the form CLEARLY stated is not required. This is a very nice and new medical facility. The lobby is tastefully decorated and very roomy. We were greeted with a warm smile. Our check in and wait time was quick. Our doctor was very nice and helpful. The paint colors are warm and comforting. Google Maps took us right to the location. Awesome!
Dr. Keirsten Smith was my daughter's primary care physician for such a short time but she made the greatest impact on improving her health. She had been diagnosed the year before and had suffered for almost a decade with symptoms that I was blamed for when she was seen by Dr. Smith. In one visit she treated her and set us on the path to wellness. We had to move from the area but we couldn't put her in our pocket and take her with us. The UP is very lucky to have her. God Bless, I will always be grateful.
I love my doctor. His nurse Janet not so much. She walks in the waiting room and you can never hear her call anyone's name. Then gets crabby when you ask her to repeat the name. She has horrible bedside manner. I needed paperwork from my doctor to return to work. I called in the morning and talked to her. By 4pm I did not hear back. I called and she said, she forgot to talk to the doctor. She gave me such a hassle about me needing a piece of paper, you walk have thought I asked for narcotics. In person experience is good and I love my docotr but after appointments the office sometimes gets prescriptions wrong or doesn't call with lab results.
