Getting treated at an urgent care facility should not feel like I'm in a fast food drive thru line. When I came in, I felt as if the staff was trying to rush my exam in order to close on time. I struggled to quickly explain my symptoms during intake due to vocal hoarseness. When I tried to explain this, I was met with cold silence by the intake nurse. They deserve not only a 10, but 10+100!!! Very friendly staff! Very efficient! Felt very comfortable! The facility was spotless! Was impressed by the courtesy of making it a point to lower their voices when asking/verifying info when other people were nearby. Only downfall at all is location. It's hard to get out of when traffic is heavy. I used to work at the hospital. N I have to say these guys far exceed the daisy award!! Please send em donuts or lunch or something!!
Everyone was very kind and helpful. The Treatment was available through the Urgent Care and that was a big relief because pharmacies were closing and I wouldn’t have been able to start my treatment until the next day! The Urgent care facility was recommended to me and I was glad that they were close and a big help!
I've used OSF OnCall numerous times for minor illnesses. I've always been very satisfied with their customer service and the Care. On this particular appointment at the location on Sheridan, I was tremendously impressed with the caregiver, Haley. She was thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough with her examination and explanation of treatment. I truly appreciate this service and I'm grateful that OSF provides it.
We waited for over 2 ours to even be called back into the room. I witnessed them turn away 2 patients that came in after finding out what they were needing to be seen for. Told them to go to another OnCall facility. Then accepted another patient that needed a quick xray. Once we were taken back we waited an additional 45 minutes and the provider never came in. We left without being seen, only for the MOA to try and argue with me for wanting to leave. There were several empty rooms that where not being used.
