I always had someone with me because I was too nervous to go alone but I went for the first time alien today and they exceeded my expectations greatly they were so nice kind and made me happy to be there! Just what I needed.
My son was in full boy mode and hit his head running around and suffered from a bad laceration. I called ahead to see if they would see him, as he wouldn’t make it there until 10 minutes before they close on a Saturday, and they said to go ahead and bring him in. They checked him out, were so kind and patient with him, and quickly but efficiently cleaned him up and placed a few staples. This place is a joke. They were not equipped to help my 8 week old son. To which his primary doctor advised us to go to this prompt care. To get help for my son, due to their office being closed. It was a weekend.. To then have to wait for almost an hour. To be taken back and not even seen by a doctor! A nurse pushed me an my baby out the back door! An said they weren't equipped. They didn't check his temp or anything! We were just pushed out the back door, so nobody would see their neglectful and unprofessional ways!
Everyone at OSF Prompt Care has been great...kind, courteous and very helpful. That being said, I've just had my 3rd visit for the same complaint. The first 2 I accept...but, going back for the 3rd time due to negligence on their part is unacceptable. Not to mention the cost....I am retired on a fixed income and cannot afford repeated visits. Very unhappy with this...causes me to lose faith for that establishment.
If I could give a 0 review, I absolutely would. I went here looking for help while being in Illinois over the summer. "Carol" was my nurse practitioner (I'm guessing that's her title). She needs a different job where she's not working with people. I went in with 3 issues, 1 of which was very minor. She immediately tells me I need to go to a GP and I said I'm visiting the area because both my parents passed recently. My doctors are out of state.
