Laura Stone at OSF Behavioral & Mental Health has been my guiding therapist for almost a year. She is incredible! Her listening and coaching skills are first class, I feel lucky to have her and the support team help. The intake team are responsive to scheduling needs and not once have I had to wait. Laura Stone I greatly recommend. OSF is lucky to have her. She is a “A” player. Thanks!
They are not proactive at all when it comes to helping you with appointments. Their 15 minutes late policy is horrible and should be flexible as it's a place for mental health. I mean the therapist has an hour block scheduled for you and if you are 20 minutes late and are just having a hard time in life they just won't see you and will cancel your appointment. What does the therapist do for that hour? Just not happy with this place at all...
My daughter has been waiting 3 days for a Psych evaluation and has to wait to see someone before she can leave. They lady was in the room right next to her and still left for the day on day 1 and was supposed to see her next but instead went home for the day and never came back the next day.
The counselor here, Laura Stone was very amazing when I first started coming to see her in the Spring of 2023. I had my last appointment a few weeks ago. I realized I would not be coming back after my last appointment with her. After refusing multiple times to do this partial hospitalization program that they have and telling her multiple times, I flat out do NOT have a schedule that allows for that as a single mother with two young kids, when it was brought up the 3rd or 4th time to me and refusing and telling her this is N... read more
Lost the best counselor I've ever had due to office staff never being available to schedule appointments. Supposed to be seen once every 2 weeks, which has turned into once a month if your lucky.
