Service was fine, and I had to have it done to get a CPAP, which has helped me a bunch. I'm just throwing a warning up for others that the pricing is outrageous, and I have decent insurance. Did the at home sleep study and they charged the $2079 for the electroencephalogram and $476 for facility charge. They give you a throw away device that hooks to finger and upper chest. Like others have said the billing for a self administered sleep test is insane. However, when I had issues Marla and Kate were both very very kind and helpful.
All staff members are very friendly and willing to help when needed. The facility it self is always clean and sitting area is comfortable while waiting to be seen.
OSF Sleep billed me for electroencephalogram- while the services were NOT rendered at all. They billed $ 2,079 for an electrode that was attached to my finger and chest only- electroencephalogram involves the BRAIN recording - simple medical terminology… I guess any provider can - and should?- bill for a heart transplant while the patient is only getting a flu vaccine???? Doesn’t it sound like fraud?
