Went to the ER for complications from strep that wasn't getting better. My first ER nurse, Tabitha, asked me what I was there for since I was already on antibiotics. My tonsils were almost touching, I had been experiencing 103° fevers, blood pressure and heart rate were both high. She implied that I basically just wanted pills. The doctor ordered test and she walks in saying how she didn't understand how we got her if all I wanted was pain management. Come to find out, I was also Septic and had RSV as well. Only reason for the 3 star is because of a nurse named Brooke and the way she treated my mother while in the hospital on the 4th floor. My mother has been in since last week and it seems Brooke actually cares about the patients while others look at it as just a job. Sitting at the nurses station talking about going out vs turning patients that have the chart on their door because of bed sores. I recently had my baby and put all my trust in them, its my first one and thank God he's okay, most of the nurses were very rude, and one admitted to having dementia, our night nurse Debbie, she was openly forgetting to do stuff for us, she was supposed to monitor my bleeding and look at my bucket that she had me pee in and looked at it one time that night, our family doctor knew that my baby wasn't eating much but said his blood sugar and vitals were all doing great, he was a premature baby so I expected him to not eat much... read more
This hospital ER is operating at an unacceptable and unsafe level. The wait times are extreme—patients are left sitting for hours with no updates, no check-ins, and no reassurance that their care is being managed. At no point was I checked on or reassessed, despite being in the ER for hours with my test results already posted in MyChart long before anyone bothered to enter the room. The lack of staff is impossible to ignore. The ER is clearly operating with dangerously low staffing ratios, and the few staff members present ... read more
My mom was in the hospital from November 1st thru the 4th...the nurses are rated number 1 for sure...they took great care of my mom...Cassy and Courtney were over the top kind and courteous and very efficient at their jobs. So this review has nothing to do with any nurse that took great care of her. She realized today that she had 400 dollars missing from her billfold. She's 77 soon to be 78...she has stashed money for years as an emergency fund just in case. I'm so heartbroken to think anyone would do that to an elderly... read more
