Beautiful apartments in the Historic District of Independence. The builder/owners are directly involved and responsive. We have great neighbors and enjoy the activities, restaurants, and shops.
This apartment is awesome! All of the countertops, appliances, walls, floors, and the layout is all very professional and nice. My partner and I are very happy with it. SMI has been a pleasure to work with and I am thankful for the easy and helpful process.
I moved in on 8/12. After a full day of moving i went to shower, only there was no hot water. Ran the taps for 5ish minutes and gave up. Sent SMI a maintenance request which no one answered. Monday came so i filed a second maintenance request, no one answered it and it was filied as completed. Multiple calls to the off and we were told to run all taps for 20-25 minutes...so 3 sinks and 2 tubs running full for 25-30 mintues to get hot water to our apt temporarily everyday. Landlord threaten to evict me and blackmailed me to do things with him
