I used to have a freight carrier that was incredibly disorganized. OTR came to my rescue during a challenging time when I had two separate pickup locations and needed both two dry vans and two reefer trucks to transfer the goods to the destination. They work with urgency and are fantastic at booking same day pickups. Their service level is stellar, and they don’t require constant supervision.
Great company to work with! Caden Weber is the best freight broker I have worked with. Very responsive and easy going. Also shout out to Ryan and Ashley in their accounting team. Extremely professional and reliable company. My shipping needs change all the time since we ship unusual shapes and sizes of live-edge slabs to large orders of lumber, OTR Freight has always been able to find me a solution and get my orders to my clients in a timely fashion, without being damaged!
I wish I read these reviews, especially the one stars ones before taking their load. They will find all sort of excuse to deduct rate after you complete their load. Never mind if they sent you at 18:00 for a load that was supposed to be picked at 15:00; forget about detention and lay over; of course there will be a $500 deduction for “unauthorized early delivery”
Working with Riley O’Connor has been one of the worst broker experiences I’ve had. We booked a load with him at 9:00 AM, and my driver was already checked in on-site by 9:20 AM. The driver was kept waiting until 5:50 PM (over 8 hours). We immediately requested detention pay, and Riley told me he would speak with his team and get us compensated.
