I have been here twice within a year or so. My surgeon, Dr Rickards as well as being my Dr, for before after care, She is simply outstanding! Top of the notch ! Everything from check in, To being discharged was smooth. I have special accomodations needed, To communicate, And they were understanding, And made my time there comfortable. Everyone I met at the surgery center was terrific, from the wonderful associate who checked me in, to the many nurses who assisted me at every turn, to the anesthesiologist, who explained clearly every procedure, to Dr. Avallone, who removed the cataracts and implanted the new lense. I am able to read my newspaper today, without reading glasses, for the first time in over 40 years!
I recently had a surgery at Outpatient Surgery of La Jolla. It was a wonderful experience. From the lady at reception to all of the nurses , the anesthesiologist and doctor, everyone was so nice. The whole staff made sure that I was comfortable and well cared for the whole time. If you have to have outpatient surgery I highly recommend this facility.
What a wonderful team of professional nurses and staff! Dr.Ghosh and his surgical team made me feel at ease while prepping me for surgery. Amanda was so amazing. Everyone was so supportive of my healing process. Thank you Mary and Benie for your care during my stay.
From the moment i arrived everything was totally professional from the front desk to the nurses. The procedure was all explained and every question fully answered. I was pretty anxious of the procedure itself but my fears and nervousness were soon gone. I never felt a tinge of discomfort during the entire process. Highly recommend them. Waiting for second eye in a week.
