I was on a waitlist for my trailer. Cody kept me apprised of available openings. When the size I wanted came up, I got a call. They let me come to check it out. It was perfect. So I signed up. I got an unexpected call from Southport Storage. It was to let me know that the cover on my trailer had ripped. I was really impressed with how observant they were and that they followed up by calling me. I came out with a replacement cover. Cody offered to help me put it on. This is much more than a parking lot for rigs.
Don’t use this place for storage. They lie to you and to the PD about what really happened when they had a theft there. They made a police report that an individual broke their gate to gain access but told me that the individual had followed in another Southport customer in the gate at like 4am. So if the storage is only open 6am-9pm why are they giving some people special access? I was told it was because they need a “safe place to park there trucks” but the rest of us get robbed. Love this place. There are no homeless living in the sheds and the managers keep the place clean and tidy. They are military minded folks and offer discounts to those who have served. They are very professional and organized.
This facility is very well maintained, clean and organized. Pricing is very reasonable. Secure gated premises with good lighting and security camera equipped.
They have a onsite 24/7 landlord. Theres a wash bay with a rv sewer dump! The onsite sewer dump is AWESOME!! No worrying about where to stop and dump after camping! AND you can fill up your rv with fresh water before each trip.
