Honolulu is not short of excellent food. But these guys go above and beyond. Food is fresh and cooked to perfection. Ingenious flavours. Excellent presentation, some of the best seafood I have had. Wrapped in cozy and friendly atmosphere, with chefs table at the front, very reasonable prices, it was a feast that I’ll remember and definitely will come back again.
everything here was perfect and delicious! only two people working and wow are they efficient and quick. oysters were perfect and so fresh. the bara chirashi bowl came with all the freshest fish. this place is doing everything correct. best place to go in waikīkī. sake options are also great 👍

My boyfriend and I went to dinner last night. I made reservations as recommended. It’s like a lil hole in a wall on the 2nd floor- hard to locate on your gps but we found it! The buttered clams (nice big fresh tasting clams)dish a soup was amazingly good. They added grapes and strawberries slices which was really surprisingly good. The onions and garlic were sweet tasting 😋and the broth was so ono. We also tried their 1/2 shelled oysters with 3 Japanese sauces which is quite tasty and fresh! Food was so amazing, honestly one of the best oysters I’ve had. Everything tastes so fresh, highly recommend the poke salad as well and the dashi butter mussels!! Ambience was very intimate and nice, server was amazing and very accommodating! And chef cooks right in front of you 😊 10/10 probably one of my favorite restaurants during my stay here!
