We didn’t have a reservation so we sat at the bar, the food was very fresh, my husband and I both got the Assorted sashimi, 10/10 very fresh and delicious, I also ordered the valcano roll, also good, only thing I would change is no sesame seeds, otherwise 10/10, my daughter got the chicken skewer fried rice, she said it was 10/10, my husband also go the oysters and said they were good and fresh, but wished they had cocktail sauce, but this is a Japanese restaurant so they don’t have that here. INCREDIBLE! Stopped here for a Valentine’s Day dinner on vacation. Staff was extremely kind and accommodating. We were even 20 minutes late for our reservation(oops) and they were understanding and still got us seated. Food was top notch. Had a variety of oysters, a sushi roll, and my fiancé had the Miso Butter Salmon. Everything was delicious! I have never tasted fresher oysters in my life ! Definitely recommend!!! ありがとう!!!!!
I had an incredible dining experience here! From the moment we sat down, the staff was welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. the service is good. ahi sashimi is honestly too expensive since it’s locally caught in hawaii and should be more affordable. the dashi soup was too sweet, can’t taste the original freshness of the seafood inside. garlic fried rice is okay. overall, it was the most expensive meal we had in hawaii, and does not feel that satisfied taking the price into consideration.
