To be absolutely clear; having my mother in the PACE program has been a nightmare. I don’t trust the doctors and seeing that my mother is not able to make those decisions on her own, I have to make sure she is in proper care. My mother is 94 years old with dementia recently diagnosed with osteoporosis. She only received that diagnosis is because she had fallen at PACE ; a second time after being there for two weeks, and they are going to tell me they can’t prevent her from falling but she is fine. PACE is amazing! The teams are very attentive! They always meet the needs of the participants! The transportation department is awesome! Monica really works with you. The drivers are professional. This really is an organization that cares. It’s a one stop shop! Blessed our lives tremendously.
PACE of the Southern Piedmont has been a saving grace for me and my mother. My mom is more engaged in LIFE! She has improved socially, mentally and physically since she has attended the program for the last 6 months. She looks forward to going to the program 3 days per week. I appreciate the program for reducing my caregiver burden, by having doctors and nurses on site, providing medications that is sent directly to the home and providing daily personal care services for my mom. Thank you Pace for a wonderful program an... read more
