This is, by far, the most smooth and relaxed surgery I’ve ever had. The staff were all so supportive, kind, caring and thorough as well as highly skilled and insightful in all aspects of the medical need. The surgery was quick and painless. Just felt listened to and cared about. None of the pre or post surgery visits felt rushed. Got to express all my concerns and ask any and all questions I had. Really felt they were invested in achieving the best possible results. Following all post op instructions led to a very good result for me.
I wish there were a way to rate a place based on whether they keep their religious beliefs to themselves and don't proselytize. Medically, I don't have any complaints. I went to the Olympia office to have cataract surgery and it was a little like entering a factory, but I expected that with how healthcare is right now. The optometrist diagnosed cataracts in both eyes but my right eye was fine. So, I told them, repeatedly, that I only wanted surgery in one eye. When I arrived for my 3rd follow up appointment they told me it was not a follow up appointment, that I was scheduled for surgery on the other eye. They got really rude when I declined. I would drive to Seattle or Portland before I would go back to them.
I'm one of those people who HATES anything around or in my eyes, including eye drops. So to say that I was a little worried about my cataract procedure would be an understatement! But the process was easy, peasy! The staff was very friendly and informative as we're the docs. The process was seamless and I always knew where I was in the process.
