Excellent, and thorough full body scanning facility. This place is so efficient and Rosa is the best! She’s so personable, and knowledgeable. She makes you feel very comfortable while scanning your skin. It can feel very vulnerable while getting your skin checked (everywhere lol) but she’s so great at what she does, and you feel at ease. I’m so glad this place exists as many dermatologists no longer do full body screening for skin cancer. Thank you!
What a relief to have a place like Palmerston Mole Scan Clinic. After an unexpected skin cancer diagnosis a few years ago, I’ve carried a lot of fear around my skin health. The Palmerston Mole Clinic was wonderful. The scan I received was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Rosa the technician was incredibly kind, considerate of my feelings and patient with me. This was the first mole scan I had in several years so I was a bit slow at times with the instructions. Rosa handled the situation (and me) perfectly. Particular moles of more concern were reviewed more closely with magnification and a physician reviewed it the same day. I was a bit skeptical on what to expect here - and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised! The woman there who took my images was so lovely - super professional, kind, and thoughtful in her approach. Very detail oriented! Then she had AI look over her work, and came back for extra close ups of any identified areas. After that, my images were sent to a dermatologist who reviewed them and provided a full (very comprehensive!) report to me (& to my doctor and personal dermatologist).
