We had an outstanding experience at Papaya. When our regular vet couldn’t see us for over a week, I searched for highly rated veterinary emergency clinics—and Papaya stood out. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make both me and my dog, who is reactive to other dogs, feel safe and at ease. Their care and professionalism truly made a stressful situation so much more manageable. We returned 10 days later to have his stitches removed and once again received exceptional service. My Chihuahua was diagnosed with seizures by one clinic and I just wasn't satisfied with this diagnoses. I knew she was having seizures. That clinic said it was either a birth issue or accident. But how an accident would be never really happened to the extent of seizures. So I took her here. And the doctor was a blessing. She sat in and watched my dog while treating her. Just a in and out. But actually stayed in the room observing Lucy for a great deal of the time we where there. Not just once or twice but 3 times during our... read more
What a wonderful place. Dr Bui did an excellent job in surgery for our dog, Ollie, who ate a silicon spoon which caused an intestinal blockage. The whole practice, including Dr Boise, was knowledgeable, respectful, and overall exceptional veterinary professionals. They let us come visit Ollie while he was under observation and waiting for surgery, which was a special level of care that I’ve not seen elsewhere! I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to seek care here, as you’ll be in good hands.
I just want to share how wonderful papaya veterinary emergency hospital is an Encinitas California. I’m visiting my son and daughter-in-law and my almost 3-year-old. Puppy ended up needing surgery due to crystal stones or something in her bladder and they were so large they had to operate and they were in her urethra the veterinarian that did the surgery is so kind and caring and I can tell you from the moment I walked in to this facility everyone there love your fur babies. If I lived closer, I would try to use them for Sad... read more
Had to take my kitty here two days in a row for something we still can’t figure out. He was highly distressed and clearly in a ton of pain. From the beginning when I called, the staff was absolutely amazing. Sarah, who works the front desk, is incredibly kind and caring, and all of the staff clearly care a lot about their patients. They treated Unagi the loud orange cat like royalty, and I think he was very happy being there. So happy that he made me take him twice!! The veterinarians are knowledgeable, and take the time to ... read more
