We had an outstanding experience at Papaya. When our regular vet couldn’t see us for over a week, I searched for highly rated veterinary emergency clinics—and Papaya stood out. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make both me and my dog, who is reactive to other dogs, feel safe and at ease. Their care and professionalism truly made a stressful situation so much more manageable. We returned 10 days later to have his stitches removed and once again received exceptional service. What a wonderful place. Dr Bui did an excellent job in surgery for our dog, Ollie, who ate a silicon spoon which caused an intestinal blockage. The whole practice, including Dr Boise, was knowledgeable, respectful, and overall exceptional veterinary professionals. They let us come visit Ollie while he was under observation and waiting for surgery, which was a special level of care that I’ve not seen elsewhere! I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to seek care here, as you’ll be in good hands.
I just want to share how wonderful papaya veterinary emergency hospital is an Encinitas California. I’m visiting my son and daughter-in-law and my almost 3-year-old. Puppy ended up needing surgery due to crystal stones or something in her bladder and they were so large they had to operate and they were in her urethra the veterinarian that did the surgery is so kind and caring and I can tell you from the moment I walked in to this facility everyone there love your fur babies. If I lived closer, I would try to use them for Sad... read more
We had a great experience at Papaya last week. They were incredibly helpful, saw us right away, and removed the ticks from our dog at no cost. The staff was kind, quick, and clearly cared about our pet’s well-being. Hopefully we won’t need to go back anytime soon—but if we do, this is absolutely where we’ll be going. Highly recommend!
We really loved our experience with Papaya. I called very emotional because I thought my doxie had injured her back and she wasn’t walking. The receptionist on the phone was so kind, Dr. Boisse was so kind and attentive and educated my husband and I and kept my dog calm. We loved that we got a follow up call after our visit to check on our pet as well. Everyone was so nice & we really appreciated it when we thought our dog was seriously injured. We wish they did primary care as well because we would take all our animals in f... read more
