Dr. Makela is one of the few Drs qualified in this robotic procedure in the area. I felt very comfortable with his expertise. He took his time answering my questions and I felt very lucky to have so my surgery
Dr. Makela is an excellent Dr. He spends quality time with me, answers all of my questions and is an excellent surgeon.
I have been with Dr. Makela he delivered my last baby over 14 years ago. I love his mannerism and he is very thorough. He answers all your questions and you don't feel rushed. Wonderful Doctor..
Dr. Makela's expertise as a urologist/gynecologist has been of great benefit to me. The surgery he performed for my prolapsed bladder problems was successful and my quality of life has improved since the surgery. During office visits, he takes time to answer all my questions, and I never feel rushed. I'm thankful for Dr. Makela , his competence, and his professional, caring manner.
THIS IS THEE BEST DOCTOR!!! I AM PERSONALLY NOT BIG ON PAPS...HE IS AN ANGEL! VERY GENTLE AND VERY HUMANE! I HAD 3 VERY HARD PREGNANCIES. I WAS SEEN AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE PREGNANCIES. CHOOSING HIM AS MY DOCTOR WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS I EVER MADE!
Dr. Makela of Trinity Health treated me with such disrespect and insensitivity today that I had to post this negative review. If I could give negative stars I would. He had an issue with me asking questions prior to a procedure. His response was “I just explained it.” As I attempted to share my feelings of disappointment and anger, he said I had used up my appointment time, 20 minutes. This doctor caused a complete pelvic organ prolapse causing me to have a colon resection as well as having to have my small intestines tacked up on my tail bone. He comes off as up on medical care and speaks the lo groups of women about pelvic organ prolapse and repair. He needs to. He does not get repeat patients so much because of his incompetence
NEVER SEE THIS DOCTOR what a complete nightmare, I visited their office on Nov 23 and since then their blatant incompetence and complete indifference to patient care has forced me to communicate with their office so much it has become a second job. I have called them 22 times in the past 60 days regarding a refill. STILL NO PRESCRIPTION. These people are useless. NEVER go here.
