Our experience with Paychex PEO has been extremely disappointing. During the sales and implementation process, we were promised a smooth transition, dedicated support, simplified HR and payroll administration, and minimal disruption to our business operations. This company is HORRIBLE. Constant late 941 payments, MONTHS behind, causing us not only a huge headache but charges with the IRS. Refusing to give us copies of what they filed. They filed the 941s 10 days after they sent 6 months of payments, but conveniently forgot to add what quarter it needed to go to. It took 3 hours on the phone with the IRS to fix it all. DON'T waste your time.
What an awful experience. Had a client using Paychex for their payroll and when they stopped and opted to close their account, Paychex closed the account immediately and refuses to issue any W-2s even though we filled out THE PAYCHEX ACCOUNT CLOSING FORM that specifical requests this to be done by Paychex. What is the point of the form if you're not going to abide by your own form? Now all the employees are out of luck because their communication system is severly lacking. I have never seen a company with a lower rating that this. And it totally makes sense. I am not sure what’s going on, they just need to shut it down. It is April 9th and I cannot get a human on any of all their phone Numbers I have dialed. And their online site is no different to navigate there’s nothing there. I need my documents to file taxes, I have been dialing different numbers for almost 2 hrs.
Unfortunately no way to give a 0. DO NOT use Paychex for your payroll. They will take your money and Not give you the service you are paying for. Then when you try to call them everyone is on vacation. My rep last was "out of the office" more then in the office. My rep was changed so frequently that when a situation arrived the new person had no clue what was going on. Not sure HOW they are still in business.
