Truly the best place for children’s healthcare. The entire staff is incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, the front desk team greets you warmly, provides all the information you need, and makes you feel comfortable. Once you’re called back, every healthcare professional is outstanding. My daughter didn’t even cry when they drew her blood for lab tests. I highly recommend this place—100%!
I had a horrible experience here and I would never ever bring my child here again. I brought my baby here for the first month of her life and came in several times out of concern for her health and was constantly dismissed and told that she was fine. I even had my speech pathologist reach out to them to get her checked for reflux because they never even bothered to figure out what was wrong with her. My daughter has been seeing Dr Chen and Chelsea Peters for about a couple months now and she loves them both. Minimal wait times each appointment and never leave with any questions. My daughter loves the Front Desk and the Medical assistants. Thank you!
I never imagined I'd have to write this, I don't usually do! But it's necessary. I took my 18-year-old daughter (we hadn't changed pediatricians, she always saw the same one) to an appointment with Dr. Chen on Tuesday, May 26th, because of severe vertigo, pain, and pressure in her head. She only examined her ears and referred her to an ENT specialist. She should have checked her tonsils, but she didn't. She could have prescribed treatment and an X-ray, but she didn't. Both of my children have been patients at First Choice (now Pediatric Associates) at Lake Nona, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The entire staff is truly wonderful, from the friendly and helpful receptionists to the caring nurses and knowledgeable doctors.
