I do not recommend this practice for your children, I definitely do not recommend Dr. Hornick, She doesn’t care about your concerns as a parent. She also misdiagnosed my son and gave him the wrong medication. Please also be aware that if you don’t agree with HER WAYS you will be discharged WITHOUT notice. The staff aren’t always pleasant and act like they can’t stand you. Passing you off to multiple people because “they can’t help you” with an attitude and a chuckle in their voice. I am completely disgusted with how this practice handled my son’s care. On Sunday 2/22/26, my special needs son experienced a medical emergency. When I contacted the office, I was informed that he had been marked as “inactive” and discharged from the practice simply because I requested his medical records. While I was in the process of transferring him to another provider, he had not yet been seen by the new physician and was not scheduled to be seen until 3/5/26. Throughout my experience, I have found it effortless to schedule appointments for my son, and I have complete trust in the care provided. My son has interacted with all staff members at some point and has developed a strong connection with Dr. Maddox. The staff goes above and beyond, showcasing their expertise and friendly demeanor. I wholeheartedly recommend this office to anyone in search of a pediatrician, and I extend my sincerest appreciation to the entire team for their exceptional care of my son and other patients.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Pediatric Associates of CT since our daughter was born. She’s now 9 months old and has been in their care from the very beginning. I really love this office dr berg has been our doctor for years. There’s even a cool dr who raps for the kids. I do believe sometimes the nurses who take you back should be more personable. They sometimes seem really stressed, but the office has always been great to us. The rooms are also so much fun. Most of my kids actually love coming to the doctor.
