I wish I could leave a 5 star review of my child’s doctors, however this is the route I’m unfortunately having to take. I have been in touch with the business office since 2024 about a bill for a life-saving steroid shot my son needed after getting croup from this office. Although our insurance was up to date, they processed it incorrectly with a previous employer. We’ve had a wonderful experience with Pediatric Associates of CT since our daughter was born. She’s now 9 months old and has been in their care from the very beginning. Every doctor and nurse we’ve encountered has been incredibly kind, supportive, and attentive — from routine well visits to the occasional sick appointment. Throughout my experience, I have found it effortless to schedule appointments for my son, and I have complete trust in the care provided. My son has interacted with all staff members at some point and has developed a strong connection with Dr. Maddox. The staff goes above and beyond, showcasing their expertise and friendly demeanor. I wholeheartedly recommend this office to anyone in search of a pediatrician, and I extend my sincerest appreciation to the entire team for their exceptional care of my son and other patients.
This review is specifically for a recent visit with Sandy Narcisco-Owen. She was incredibly thorough in her examination of our toddler, and just wonderful with her. She was calm, reassuring, and all around a breath of fresh air. She made us feel validated as parents and we left feeling so grateful for her.
I wouldn't even give them any stars if that was an option. I called over 2 months ago, told them my situation, my insurance and they told me to fill out everything online for my daughter. I IMMEDIATELY filled out the paperwork and waited 2 weeks. I called in and they told me they didn't even process anything due to NOT ACCEPTING PATIENTS during a "system change" so I said I understand and was told my application was moved to the top as it was time sensitive.
