Pedim Healthcare in Lecanto Florida could care less about your health and well-being. I am new to the area and went in there for a physical and a covid-19 prescription. My wife is a medical professional and does a lot of international travel on airplanes for 9 hours at a time. I'm trying to protect myself and my family but Pedim Healthcare could care less. This is a form of Medical Malpractice. When it comes to communication, they are the worst. I have asked for refills on medicine, the request thru the patient portal. They NEVER reply acknowledging receipt and the ALLEGED nurses make the decisions, NOT the doctor. So, in most cases, the doctor doesn't know you made any medicine request. This goes for other messages thru the patient portal. The alleged nurses in the call center make the decisions. Who died and left the bogus nurses in the call center in charge. I've been coming here for years No problems But the 29th had a 2:40 appointment Arrived about 2:30 Sat in the waiting room till after 3 Then was taken back had a few things done B.P. temp etc Then was left sitting in there until I got up and looked for someone Got we didn't forget you Waited till after 4:00 Finally just got up and left after over a hour and a half wait Contacted them still haven't heard anything from them

Was supposed to be told ahead of time of the cost of the PFT which didn’t happen. It ended up being over $300 for about 15 minutes for the test. Something needs to be done about this.
Waited over 1 hr for doc to come in for appt.

Been going here for 10 years abs have seen 6 different providers, I've been left in a room for 4 hours and forgotten until they were closing for the day, I make an appointment and deal with excessive amount of texts and emails to check in and confirm only to have the appointment canceled (multiple times) the day before or at times the day of.
