One of the best doctors I have encountered. Knowledgeable, supportive, and kind.
Loved him and trusted his medical decisions during my very complicated pregnancy. He was very thorough in his assessments, listened to my concerns, was supportive of a couple of difficult decisions I had to make- he gave me all information before I made a decision. He did not judge during our appointments and that can be hard to find sometimes in a MD who deals with pregnancies. I recommended him to a friend who found out there were some genetic issues with baby and he was very thankful.
It has taken me 9 years to write this: My experience was nauseating. Upon finding markers for a baby with Down syndrome and an AVSD, this doctor RECOMMENDED abortion. My beautiful 9 year old child with Down syndrome is thriving. Her heart was “perfectly” repaired and she is mainstreamed in school. Upon joining a group of Trisomy 21 moms, so many of us have the same story. It is so disappointing to hear of so many moms being encouraged to abort these beautiful children.
