We have used Pender for more than 35 years, for both cats and dogs. Dr. Pat Denney has been our primary vet for most of the time. Our latest dog had to have ACL surgery performed by Dr. Denney, and the care she received and follow up appointments have all been excellent. His frequent assistant, Kayla, is both professional and very caring and patient with our dog. We will continue to use Pender as long as we have pets.

Have had nothing but positive experiences with Pender. My dog Pippin needed surgery to repair his leg, and Dr Denney has been wonderful throughout the process, from prep to surgery to recovery. The assistants, including Kayla, have really helped make us feel comfortable and welcome! Smiles all around.

Everything went as planned or better than planned. Everything was explained by the technician in advance, during the visit and summarized at the end of the visit. Prices at the vet in general continue to go up. A routine, but state mandated, Rabies shot is now way north of $100.00.

Dr Voell has given our dachshund Harley TCL and quality veterinarian care for years. He takes his time with pet owners as well to explain the what, where, and when to properly care for Harley’s needs. He’s great with dogs and obviously knows his business !

Our dog Bobby owes his life to Dr. Denney and Dr. Padte. He had a very complicated bladder stone surgery a couple of years ago, but survived, recovered and continues to enjoy his life. We are very grateful to Dr. Padte, Dr. Denney and the staff at Pender.

We’ve been coming to Pender since our Bulldog was just 8 weeks. Dr Hyatt and Kayla always give the most amazing care to our little one and when we came in for her spay surgery, the care and attention to detail was no different. No question is too small and no request is too big, they are a dynamic duo. We can’t imagine trusting any other vet with the care of our dog. Thank you for the amazing service every time!
