My senior cat was recently treated by Dr. Hyatt and Kirsten for arthritis issues, weight loss, and a general exam. The service, as normal, was outstanding. Dr. Hyatt provided a detailed exam and diagnosis, and Kirsten was very kind and caring in the way she took care of Vanilla during his visit.

I am totally thrilled with Dr. Hyatt. I have been looking for DECADES for a vet in this area that I trust. I have finally found him!! The prices are astronomical for veterinary care in Northern Virginia but if I have to pay these prices, I AT LEAST want to trust the judgement of the vet treating my beloved pets. Dr. Hyatt is exceptional. Thank you Dr. Hyatt for your care of BooBoo. I'll be back with my other pets!

I have consistently had a great experience at Pender. I've seen multiple Vets and Vet Techs over the years and all have been professional and caring. On multiple occasions, the doctor has given me their business card at the end of the visit with their direct contact info and told me to please reach out with any additional questions. It isn't what you may expect from a large practice. Dr. Hyatt and his surgical team took outstanding care of my senior cat for her dental procedure. Her health is comprised by an auto-immune condition. Therefore, I was concerned about this necessary procedure. All went well, and I appreciate the extra care that was taken by Dr. Hyatt and the Pender staff.

We brought our new one year old rescue puppy for his pre-neuter check up with Dr. Flanary. We have two other dogs and have been with Pender for almost five years so our expectations are always high but this was far beyond what we could have imagined! Mattie, our puppy, is extremely fearful and will not let any humans approach him and will not take treats from your hand - we have had him almost 6 weeks and this has remained the case.
