Dr. Adesso takes SUCH good care of my cat. She always explains everything and discusses and treatment plans with me and makes sure I know what to do to keep my little Ivy healthy. Everyone who works here is always so kind and so friendly and so helpful. I'm SO glad Ivy gets her care here.

We’ve been taking our family dogs to Pender since 2007. Now that I have two dogs of my own, we still only go to Pender. We’ve received excellent care and wellness services from Pender. Over the last couple of years we have strictly been seen by Dr Voell, and he was so calming and helpful during the pandemic when we were not allowed to come in with our pets. We have been going to Pender for every veterinary need my family has had in the last 30 years. Pender has helped us with all our cats and dogs (even my parents dog that came from Mexico). When we moved from Chantilly to Falls Church, we briefly went to see another clinic closer to home, but came back to Pender for their unique way of treating our fur family. I've been with Pender Veterinarian Clinic since the first week we moved here 30 years ago. We've started out with 2 Maine Coon Cats Really Big! And 1 German Shepherd...I've always seen Patrick Denny and Dr. Hutchinson and they both know a lot about German shepherds and larger Dog's needs. Dr. Voell is always helpful and can break down some complicated news in a way that helps us sort out what are the important things to consider when planning the best course of action for our pups. Recently, our senior GSD declined and with Dr. Voell's help, we were able to get our dog back on the mend while we monitor his medical issues.

Excellent service! We came in for an urgent care appointment and saw Dr. McKinnon, she was amazing!! Very thorough, patient, taking time to explain everything and provide options. The med techs and front desk staff were all outstanding. Highly recommend Pender!

Pender has always been my choice for Veterinary care. I recently got a new puppy with very limited background information. Dr. Voell has been very helpful in helping me choose the correct treatments for him. He often calls with information on tests which puts my mind at ease. We have been taking our 2 Bichons to Pender since we moved to DC and we cannot say enough AMAZING things about the staff there!! Dr. Denney is ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!
