Service was great Process went easily and quickly
George Reid was very prompt, professional, and friendly during the whole process of refinancing. He answered all of my questions and explained everything to me in an easy to understand way. I would encourage everyone to deal with PennyMac for all of their home loan needs if they get to deal with a representative like George.
Customer service was great. My only hiccup was that the numbers on all the documents kept changing so I had no idea what amount was going to be due at closing and that caused a lot of stress.
Better communication
I felt communication was a challenge. We had specifically outlined the purpose of the loan: to add a second person to the loan and the deed with rights of survivorship. At the last minute, we realized the documents weren't correct so we had to reschedule the closing and even then they weren't perfect but were assured they would be good. In the end we had to schedule a second visit to sign an additional document not originally included in our closing.

Darrel would explain everything well to us we were having trouble with our end and she stay on the phone and help us step by step until we figure it out she had lots of patients with us ,!!
Amanda was truly outstanding. She followed up with me in a very timely manner and always let me know the status of my loan, what was needed, what I could expect, etc. Her communication was outstanding and she was always very pleasant and easy to talk to.
