The closing cost increased at the end that doesn’t make me happy
My refinance experience with PENNYMAC was amazingly good. The Teamwork between departments was seamless, and communication between steps was clear, concise, and timely. Extra kudos to Kami for her consistent communication, kindness, and attention to detail. She was truly a joy to work with!

The “team” approach was not effective. I’ve refinanced 2x within the last 5 years (with brokers previously) and uploading to a website, waiting for turn around time, trying to review required documents in one place rather than scattered through email and website was not clear and time consuming. From when I was told the Kami was my person to actually communicating with Kami directly was only for the closing process was brief.
