Firstly prompt and accurate communication would have helped immensly. Just one example of this was that we received three notices that PennyMac had all the forms and information needed only to be told that they needed more. We had to fax the forms to PM so I used UPS to do it. With all the forms we sent, we sent about $70 to do this. But the amount was not important to me as I just wanted to give them everything they needed. Yet we had to fax things three different times. After having a nightmare of an experience with another loan company, I reached out to PennyMac and a week later we were already to close. I realize not every refinance goes quite this fast, but it was still an incredible lift off our shoulders and a very awesome experience overall.
