Very helpful
My refi was quick and easy. This is my second loan with Penny Mac and both were seamless.
The loan took too long.
Fantastic the second time around. 1st time was absolutely garbage
The loan was made for more than the payoff amount was, and some funds were disbursed to us. This was not part of the agreement. We had said we wanted to pay cash for the closing costs, in an effort to keep the amount of loan the same as the one we were paying off. The person who came to our home was not a rep from PennyMac, but a notary, so we couldn't change things unless we would cancel the appt. And we just wanted to close and be done with it.
Overall communication was lacking. I was only contacted to request the same documents I had already sent to multiple people. Tommy Jackson is a joke and I felt like he just abandoned me through the whole process. I expected him to keep me in the loop and expected him to walk me through the process. As far as Krystal Fuentes goes, she did an ok job keeping me updated even after i wasn’t very friendly to her.
