Hi, closing was rescheduled 3 times due to errors on PennnyMac end. 1st time Rate was incorrect on documents at closing. Unable to resend as very difficult to reach loan officer to correct. 2nd time I nor notary received the documents after closing was scheduled. No information loan officer did not respond in time for appt. After multiple calls and corrections. Insisted to view documents before closing #3. Then 3rd time all confirmed. This is not the first time we have used Pennymac and as always the service and rates were fantastic.
I don't fault Mr. Brown for any of the scores than were less than 10/10. He was often the victim of poor communication with staff managing my documentation. Often, he did not have information that had been forwarded by the website. The latter is a large part of the issues that arose during the process. The homeowner should have access to a screen that shows what has actually been accepted. This would show transparency with what I forwarded and what PennyMac sees. Ed Sarkardehi did a great job for cradle to grave with our re-finance. Always replied promptly and accurately. Ed coordinated with all the PennyMac's colleagues getting our loan process as it progressed through other departments, it never was stagnant and followed the set time line. We had a awesome experience working with PennyMac and wouldn't hesitate repeating a re-finance or new loan. Thank you, Mike Lecourias
The people that helped me were kind and courteous. I felt like there were way too many hands in the cookie jar. I spoke to so many different people that did not know what was going on and had to reiterate the situation. My closing documents were wrong at least three times and it took 3 or so weeks to make the corrections. The title company also did not comply with my communications and had to fix mistakes. Proper communication or conveying the loan details to their team members would have been great. There was 0 communication on what is happening with loan process
