The phone and internet systems are ridiculous. I could never talk to the person with the answers and just got constant requests for documents that had been turned in. I have used loan systems before and this was by far the worst system I had ever dealt with. Use people not machines to think and it might improve.
The refinance process was handled perfectly by Penny Mac. Would recommend them for all of you house loan needs.
IT was a very easy loan as we already were with you for a smaller amount. I was disappointed that I had to request a review of the closing costs to match up with what was quoted and some of it was resolved.
Process was simple and fast
Communication was key. Anytime I had a question - and trust me there were a few!! - I was able to call and get an answer. That is so helpful! I've never done this on my own, so having someone there to help me through the process was really nice. Thank you!
Not a difficult process.
Overall it went great. It was delayed, which changed the original plan/timeline which was frustrating. The original loan officer was great and very helpful/knowledgeable. Joyce didn’t seem as knowledgeable and just seemed to go off the script but I understand we all have to learn.
Easy process
This process is tedious and difficult. There was a bit of a communication snafu about call times which caused the process to be prolonged and I received lots of irritating phone calls and emails giving me time parameters to call back which were not possible. Once I was made aware that I could actually call after business hours, the process moved along more quickly and with less frustration on my part.
