Re-financing my loan with PennyMac was easy and painless. Jason Nosser called me regularly every week with updates on the process. It took almost 3 months, but I believe that was mostly due to documents that were required from another bank. All in all, it was a user-friendly process and Jason was great at keeping me informed.

Elyccia did very well in providing us information and telling us what to expect. Nothing was said about how long it would be to complete the process, but it moved along pretty smoothly. The process was not perfect, but overall it was d*** good. Ted & Cheryl Kayes

It was a cluster...first no appraisal needed, then it was needed. Closing g costs were very high, interesting rate quote was higher than first quoted. Loan was denied after 2 months because of wrong info which Penny Mac was notified about...then loan was back on...then the closing date kept getting g pushed back...almost stopped the process a few times because of all the screw ups. Would I use Penny Mac again....not sure...sorry but it is what it is!

I was still charged a small appraisal fee, but they used my previous appraisal that was done through someone else. Also process took over 2 months to complete.
