Very easy process
The closing happened in only 2 weeks. While this is not a big issue and probably a good thing, I was told 4 weeks and that I would not have to make a March payment. When the closing was moved up 2 weeks, it meant I would not need to make a February payment and then will need to make a March payment. This affected my budgeting and resulted in extra work on my end. Also, I struggled to understand the numbers that were given to me regarding my escrow and how that would affect my final loan. The process was simple and easy. Everyone that helped me were pleasant and kept me well informed.
I wish I could’ve just done my whole loan process with one person (Alan Chichakly).
This was long and unneeded process due the handling for the original loan processor Jason P. I had to contact the BBB and file a complaint at get my load was closed without notice to me and the unwillingness to correct the errors made in documentation at closing. Very unprofessional at first but Nolan and Merrill were much better and very understanding and responsive to all situations.
My wife and I heard about Penny Mac Loan services through an insurance company and the haven't disappoint. Thorough and accurate in our loan process. Thanks!
