We had our current loan with Penny Mac and a second home with another lender. In the 10 years we had with Pwnny Mac we never had a problem with communications, paperwork, tax filings or knowing where we stood on our loan repayment. We had issues with our second home loan within 6 months of taking it. When we decided to refinance our home, we looked everywhere but just felt like it was a money grab for fees. Closed on my refinance in a timely matter, they beat other companies by atleast a .5% intrest rate. I got to sign everything over the phone and was walked through things if need. And when it came time to close i was able to schedule the closing time and location myself. They even sent someone to my house to do the closing.
