Even though it I took over 2 hours on the phone because of my requesting a lower rate, she constantly showed herself to be knowledgeable, professional and very personable. It was a good experience.
I had a phenomenal experience with Bethany and the mac team helping me with my very first home refinancing. I was clueless and had no idea on refinancing my home. From beginning to end, Bethany was amazing. I was especially blown away on how easy the online process was. Fast, friendly, and efficient! Bethany communicated with me directly which made the whole process very easy. She and the team answered all of my questions. Thank you Bethany and PennyMac! There were problems with the web based application process. My wife's profile kept having issues, she was not able to access and sign documents. This took calls on three occasions to resolve as it reoccurred.
We had questions about the timeframe we have actually resided in our home vs. what was documented on the forms. I attempted to contact both Danyelle and Ashley but never received an email or call back despite calling several times. While our refinancing process is closed and we are satisfied with our new loan, this is the only complication and frustration we had.
The one or two conversations I had with Malaika were good. The portal is just really poorly done, we needed the portal to ask for certain documents to be able upload anything and if we wrapped up one round of uploading couldn’t go back without requesting it and it never got done so we ended up emailing it. Also the requests for certain documents to start with didn’t make much sense to us… We’ve been through this process multiple times and knew what to expect but even then updates etc and reminders would have been helpful
