I felt as though we were not advised until last minute for some documents, and my husband lost out on a day of work because of miscommunication. I was sent an email to schedule closing and that same day I called to verify everything was on schedule just to find out we were not closing that day. My husband works at a prison as a correctional officer and I could not communicate with him about the date not being “actually real”. If collin had followed through with things in a timely manner. I always had to contact him to keep the ball rolling. Numerous times he said documents would be sent and they never were or not completed in a timely manner. This was by far the worst customer service experience i have ever had. I was originally told my loan could close end of november latest would be dec 15 2021. Here we are January 7 2022 and it is still not completely closed and funded. Already having a mortgage with Penny Mac I felt comfortable trusting them with an online application for a refi. The application was filled out over the phone and I only had to submit the usual docs. Closing happened within a couple of weeks and the Title Co sent the notary to our house. Very streamlimed process, happy to work with them 👍🏼
