This was an AMAZING experience for our refi! Everything was smooth and we even closed sooner than anticipated. I appreciate the communication and the fact that they didn’t ask for the same documents more than once like a previous experience with another company. We are extremely happy with the whole process and will gladly recommend PennyMac to others. Thank you!

Start to finish was 3 months. Way too many people involved in the process. Multiple calls to set up closing when all the documentation wasn't even ready. Finally set up closing and while waiting 20 minutes on the third party to arrive, received a call from PennyMac that closing was canceled. I think less people should be involved. I think before someone from PennyMac calls the customer, they should review all of the documents to make sure they know what they're talking about. What would have made it better would be if Cindy would have returned the 2 messages that I left her, 3 messages my husband left her, and 3 messages that our realtor left her. Also being told that we’d need to stay with family or get a hotel since we would be without a place to live due to her error did not sit well with us. The most stressful experience we’ve ever been apart of. I didn’t receive a call back until I asked multiple people to speak to Cindy’s manager, which also never happened.

The representative Cindy Crouse and the MacTeam provided excellent customer service. Cindy made us feel at ease through the entire process by always keeping us informed with a weekly call. I could always see her smile with such a positive and upbeat attitude. Cindy and the team were always so responsive to all of our questions and concerns, which help to make the process less stressful. Hats off to Penny Mac!
