I would recommend Penny Mac to everyone interested in financing a home loan
Great communication and transparency. Everything went smoothly and the loan closed ahead of time.
They refinance process was done through Pennymac very well. The Mac team and Brittney were excellent to work with. My only complaint is that the Title company dropped the ball when trying to find a lawyer for closing. The lawyer was late to scheduled appointment by 2 hours without a courtesy call. When he did arrive he was un-organized, un-kempt and un-personable. I would suggest cross communication with the title company and more training with their customer service as well.
From beginning to end, and top to bottom of your company, it was a nightmare doing my refi with your company. I've done many refis in the past and never before had such a horrific experience: not providing requested information and supervisor's contact info, not responding to emails, not honoring my request not to work with incompetent loan reps, 30-minute waiting on hold. It's all there in your "recorded" phone calls and emails, but nothing will happen as you have a culture of poor service.
They gave very competitive rates and communication was quick and clear
I had a great experience with my loan agent and PennyMac while refinancing my home. The process was efficient and secure, and my agent was patient with my inquiries. I highly recommend PennyMac for your mortgage needs!

Given the extraordinary circumstances we all faced with COVID-19, Nicole L. kept me well informed with the process. Even though the process was lengthy, she assured me everything is in order and was available to answer every question I had. I would strongly encourage anyone that I know to consider PennyMac when looking for a home loan.
