very helpfull and great job
My original application moved very quickly but the closing documents had information that seemed incorrect to me. My original contact person did not get back to me when I had questions. After a month a new contact person researched my issue and she worked quickly to a satisfactory resolution. With the new closing docs the remainder of the process went smoothly and without further issue.
Settlement came much faster than promised which was a pleasant surprise. Theresa kept me updated about every change and made sure that all of my questions were answered. She made resettlement a breeze!

Quick and easy!
Everything was smooth due to the communication from all involved. Alex, the loan officer, went above and beyond to answer all of the questions and explaining everything to all parties involved.
Timely responses
Everything went just fine until closing day but after many phone calls and unanswered messages I finally reached out to my original loan officer that I started the process with and was able to get everything taken care of. That was really the only big problem that was encountered and overall my experience was great!
Overall communication was not that good. Getting the closing docs signed was a fiasco, which wasn't entirely Penny Mac's fault. But there should have been better communication. I feel that the lender credit was a fair solution. Without that, my review would have been much worse.
